New Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream is now open
Henderson now has its own nitrogen ice cream shop. Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream just debuted at 55 S. Valle Verde Drive with a roster of over-the-top flavors.
In less than two minutes, the ice cream transforms from liquid to frozen with liquid nitrogen. Customers can create their own flavors, frozen at -321 degrees Fahrenheit. The long list of ice cream flavors includes huckleberry, watermelon, bubblegum, coconut, and cheesecake.
Customers can order the Chocolate Conduction with chocolate ice cream, brownie, chocolate flakes, and fudge; Birthday Cake Capacitor with cake batter and fudge ice creams, cookie dough, and sprinkles; the Bernoulli Brulee with caramel and vanilla ice creams, cinnamon, dulce de leche, Twix bars, and Heath bars; and the Peanut Butter Bonds with peanut butter ice cream, fudge, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and brownies among the options.
Patrons can even select the type of ice cream base used, with lactose-free, vegan, and sugar-free options available.
The first Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream shop opened in 2004 after founders Jerry and Naomi Hancock discovered liquid nitrogen is a safe and cost-effective way to create customizable ice cream products. They appeared on NBC’s Shark Tank in 2013, and now have dozens of locations worldwide.
Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream, 55 South Valle Verde Drive, Henderson, NV 833-668-7321. Open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
