Armed with a chemistry degree, Jerry Hancock wanted to build an ice cream store that would excite the imagination of a generation. There were plenty of Kid or sports-themed Restaurants. His goal was to create a local Exploratorium in every neighborhood.
States of Matter is where we started. We knew to make the most custom ice cream we had to start with a liquid state. Flavors don’t dissolve into solids.
This interaction allows students to experience a practical application of states of matter experiments. No other restaurant incorporates the practical application of physical sciences.
