1. Is this presentation safe?
Extremely safe! Each experiment we demonstrate has been approved by licensed professionals from our Nitrogen suppliers.
2. How much does this cost?
It’s very affordable! The price of the presentation is based on the number of children and staff, distance and any additional add-on items you request. Please call your local Sub Zero for a quote.
3. What will we learn? What age is this for?
Any age! Sub Zero will adapt the presentation material to the group/class, but we cover the following at an age appropriate level:
- Nitrogen Safety
- Condensation, Evaporation
- The Ideal Gas Law
- Elements: Nitrogen
- Atmosphere
- Water Crystal Structure
4. How long is the presentation?
Within a class period! The presentation and ice cream show should take 45-55 minutes. Length can be adjusted according to class/groups schedules and needs however.
5. How much space is needed? Do you need electricity or water?
Minimal! We need enough space for an 8′ table and room to walk around it. The presentation can be performed inside or outside, if needed. We do not need electricity. Access to water is helpful, but not required.
6. What food will be served? What if we have children with allergies?
Awesome ice cream! Sub Zero will make ice cream right before your eyes for all students and staff upon conclusion of the presentation. We can definitely cater to most allergies that your staff or students may have. Please disclose the allergies to the Sub Zero representative prior to the presentation.
