Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt Opens New Location

Sub Zero Ice Cream announced the opening of its newest location in Sandy, with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, January 7th.

“We are excited to be a part of a growing franchise that has the best ice cream,” said Owner, Christian Thurgood. “We are also excited to be small business owners in the great community of Sandy. We are proud to be able to contribute to the struggling economy and provide jobs.”

Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt has redefined the way people perceive ice cream with its unique flash freezing process and menu board that offers over a trillion flavor combinations. Customers can choose their base, any of the many flavor and mix-in combinations, then watch as their creation is flash-frozen right before their eyes.

“The most valuable experience that will prove to help us with our Sub Zero store is that we have experience in creating and owning a small business,” Christian Thurgood said. “The past eight years in our concrete business have taught us a great deal. We have learned what it takes to produce a good product and build customer loyalty.”

Both Christian & Daniel are excited to venture into the food industry. They look forward bringing the uniqueness of the Sub Zero Ice Cream experience to the city of Sandy. They’re passionate about creating a positive environment and creating a business that enriches the community.

“Ice cream makes people happy and we wanted to be part of that environment,” Christian Thurgood said. “We are passionate about family, friends, and about creating a business that reflects positively in our community.”
